This fall’s conference will be held at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, 4472 Basin Harbor Road in Vergennes, Vermont on September 23, 2006 from 9:30 am to 4:15 pm.  

We are pleased to have Mr. 
Arthur Cohn, Executive Director of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, and Dr. Mary Watzin, Director, Rubenstein Ecosystem Science Laboratory, University of Vermont as morning speakers.  

The schedule of events will also allow participants to enjoy a tour of the wonderful Maritime

The afternoon sessions include enjoying a two-hour expedition  on Lake Champlain aboard UVM’s Melosira, the  university's lake research vessel, (co-sponsored by the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources); additional time to tour and enjoy the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum;  and a Musical and Ecological Art presentation by William Tortolano (co-sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council).  The day will conclude with fine food in the lovely atmosphere of the Basin Harbor Club.  Following dinner, new Fellows
